This Beauty in the Burn series is part of the Alder Creek Fire that started July 8th, 2021 and burned throughout the summer until mid-September. The fire burned 571,450 acres. Butte, where we live, was blanketed in smoke for most of that summer. We first visited the burn on a rainy day in June 2022 and discovered the beauty found in burn areas. I’ve decided to document the burn’s new growth in years to come.
This print has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it’ll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
