I’ve helped organize the Enchanting event for SNöFLINGA for the past three years. This year, the event had to change locations, which included a little rethinking how the space would feel once night fell.
I focused on lighting a small grove of trees in Clark Park and made 23 ice candles to add warmth and a sense of gathering. The rest of the park was lit up as well, but I wanted to make the tree grove the highlight with a little extra charm and decoration.
I had planned to take more photos throughout the night with some documentation, but the event moved fast. Between setup, helping where needed, and just keeping things going, the evening flew by. I was exhausted at the end but after a moment of hesitation, I took a few photos right before turning off the lights and starting cleanup. I’m glad I did.
